Menah Pratt-Clarke

Welcome to the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access at the University of Illinois.

As Interim Assistant Chancellor and Director, I invite you to learn more about the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (OEOA) at the University of Illinois.

With the importance of equity and access in employment opportunities, this Office is responsible for playing an integral role in ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented, and that government compliance is maintained.

In addition, OEOA is responsible for investigating complaints of alleged harassment and/or discrimination, and represents the University before Federal and State agencies that enforce discrimination laws.

Also, OEOA provides campus-wide educational programs to improve climate, increase diversity and retention efforts. OEOA forges partnerships with campus and community groups to promote an inclusive environment.

You are encouraged to visit the University of Illinois’ diversity Web site Inclusive Illinois at Inclusive Illinois.

We value your interest, and hope that you will visit us again.
